Amazon features high-heeled dress boots on its home page

It was so nice to see Amazon featuring boots on their home page today, especially high-heeled dress boots.  Don't get me wrong, I'm all over the riding boot trend, which appears to be huge already this early in the season.  While I think most women can pull off the riding boot look, not everyone can pull off the spiky high-heeled boot look.  In fact, if I had to limit my collection to just one pair of boots, it would have to be a knee-high pair with high heels.  The style is timeless and they definitely make a fashion statement!

That said, out of Amazon's impressive selection, my favorite would have to be the Nine West "Braidy" style.  Although the shaft might be a little too sculpted for my taste, those heels are head-turning!

Also note the Amazon promo code to take 25% off boot orders of $100 or more.

Nordstrom's "Stand Tall" promotion featuring over-the-knee boots

Speaking of Nordstrom, I really like their current "Stand Tall" boot promotion on the front page of their website featuring a nicely modeled pair of sexy black over-the-knee boots!

Beautiful Ralph Lauren coat & boot combination at Nordstrom.com

Even though it's not leather, this beautiful orange twill coat by Ralph Lauren really caught my attention during Nordstrom's "Statement Coat" promotion.  It looks even better paired with the caramel spike-heeled boots ("Lavinia" also by Ralph Lauren).

This Ralph Lauren coat is $340 at Nordstrom.com.  The pictured "Lavinia" style boots are past season, but available in some sizes at Amazon.com.  I also saw these beautiful boots in black just last weekend at a local Marshall's store for $129.99.

Michael Kors long leather gloves at Nordstrom

Having been a fan of Michael Kors' boots for awhile now, it shouldn't come as a surprise that they've ventured into long leather gloves.

Although I'm not sure I like the strap-and-buckle detail at the glove opening, the length is about perfect - past the elbow without going to the shoulder. While I'd opt for them in the more versatile black, the luggage color is an intriguing option.

These gloves are currently listed for $250 at Nordstrom.com.  Given the price, I'd really like to see these in person before committing to them, but unfortunately, they've not available at my local store.  However, I'm really enjoying the "long leather glove" trend!
