Neiman Marcus front cover features nice leather pants

It's nice to see the front cover of a recent Neiman Marcus catalog feature a look I would actually consider wearing - a decorative sweater top paired with skinny leather pants.

Although these are referred to as "leather leggings," these don't appear to have the skintight fit I normally associate with that style. This is definitely a style I would consider adding to my collection!

As for the sweater paired with these leather pants, I'd probably go with a red or gray, but I definitely like the style, especially the collar.

Over-the-knee boot looks at Alloy

Given their low prices, I don't think the clothes and shoes at Alloy can be very high quality, but they have managed to put together some of my favorite over-the-knee boot styles.

Alloy also features some great over-the-knee boot looks paired with short dresses.

The new Talbot's has potential

Speaking of Talbot's, I was impressed with their fall/winter line in their previous catalog. I've always thought of Talbot's as very conservative, but it's nice to see that they're branching out.

Although the model is made-up kind of scary, I definitely like the sexy leather jacket and long black leather gloves.

Nice use of long black leather gloves as accessories with these outfits.

The long gloves are nice, but the dress on the left would look stunning with opera-length black leather gloves!

The caramel-colored long leather gloves are a nice change from basic black.

New Talbot's catalog

Our new Talbot's catalog came in today's mail and there are a couple of "leather looks" I really like.

I've always thought that "winter shorts" paired with tights were very sexy. This look is made even better by pairing them with a sexy sweater and some long black leather gloves.

I also like the contrast of the smooth black leather blazer paired with the pattern and ruffles of the grey tweed skirt.
