Amazon features high-heeled dress boots on its home page
It was so nice to see Amazon featuring boots on their home page today, especially high-heeled dress boots. Don't get me wrong, I'm all over the riding boot trend, which appears to be huge already this early in the season. While I think most women can pull off the riding boot look, not everyone can pull off the spiky high-heeled boot look. In fact, if I had to limit my collection to just one pair of boots, it would have to be a knee-high pair with high heels. The style is timeless and they definitely make a fashion statement!

Beautiful Ralph Lauren coat & boot combination at Nordstrom.com
Even though it's not leather, this beautiful orange twill coat by Ralph Lauren really caught my attention during Nordstrom's "Statement Coat" promotion. It looks even better paired with the caramel spike-heeled boots ("Lavinia" also by Ralph Lauren).
This Ralph Lauren coat is $340 at Nordstrom.com. The pictured "Lavinia" style boots are past season, but available in some sizes at Amazon.com. I also saw these beautiful boots in black just last weekend at a local Marshall's store for $129.99.

Some very nice Robert Rodriguez leather pants at Amazon.com
I am in serious lust with these Robert Rodriguez skinny leather jeans, from Amazon.com of all places! Even more tempting is that there is one pair left, and they're my size. Somehow, I can't part with the $219.60 Amazon wants for them, even though they were originally $595.00. I think it's that $200 price point, as at $150-$175, I'm pretty sure I would snap them up.
They look great modeled with pumps and I can envision wearing them with strappy sandals and tucked into boots as well.
