I came across this Hermes ad in the WSJ Magazine and thought it was worth sharing.
Even holding a snowball, those long black leather gloves look very luxurious, especially paired with several bracelets.

Nice ad from Lafayette 148 featuring leather pants
I have to admit, I really enjoyed the latest e-mail ad I received from Lafayette 148.
This one featured a cashmere turtleneck sweater paired with some nice shiny black leather pants. This time of year, it's hard to go wrong when you pair a turtleneck sweater with leather pants, whether for work, your holiday office party, or any holiday gathering. Although the blue sweater pictured is very nice, I'd probably opt for a more festive red for a holiday gathering. Besides, we all know how great red looks when paired with black leather!

My Favorite Pages - ELLE - November 2012
It's not saying much when the "leather highlight" in ELLE consists of a series of fur ads that have a great vintage 1980s look to them.
A knee-length fur coat paired with a turtleneck, wide black leather belt, and nicely matching leather skirt makes for a very sophisticated, luxury look. All that's missing is the knee-high boots!
Bare shoulders and arms stay warm with this nice pairing of a fur stole and opera-length leather gloves.
Again, a very nice pairing of a fur stole withlong leather gloves. The jewelry (big bracelet and pinky ring) worn over the gloves is also a nice touch.
This black leather shirtdress from Michael Kors is anything but basic. The goldtone buttons on the shoulders as well as the optional goldtone belt accent it very nicely. This piece would look great worn in early fall with strappy sandals or later in the season with some sexy over-the-knee boots.
This Hollywood edition of ELLE featured this one photo of actress Susan Sarandon in a Valentino black leather trench coat. The coat appears to be floor length and I wish we could have seen more from this photo shoot.

It's hard to believe that for an issue of Vogue where fall leather fashion should be more prominent, I only found one photo / ad worth sharing!

My new "most wanted" boots!
6pm.com has these gorgeous Joan & David "Selya" boots for $192.06. Everything I look for in a black leather dress boot - quality leather, straight shaft, and sexy stiletto heels! Since they don't have them in my size, it sure would be nice to find a pair that fits on eBay, maybe even for less money!
These boots already look great paired with skinny jeans and would work equally well paired with a pencil skirt. Enjoy!

Bloomingdales features "Modern Equestrian"
Bloomingdale's currently features a style spotlight on Ralph Lauren: Modern Equestrian. I especially like the softer looks - belted tunic sweaters and knit dresses. It should come as no surprise that my favorite part of this look is leggings and jodhpur-style pants tucked into tall, sexy boots. Believe it or not, the classic dress leather boots pictured are affordable for Ralph Lauren boots at $249.

My Favorite Pages - ELLE - September 2012
Great Gucci ad featuring some very nice tall black leather boots!
There's lots of leather to like on this page! It also shows how much of a trend black leather will be this fall fashion season.
And if black leather is too tough a look, both jackets and pants come in a range of beautiful colors.
These leather pants appear to have been styled after your favorite sweatpants...and just as comfortable!
The detail work on this Ralph Lauren leather jacket is stunning. And to me, "price on request" means it's going to be unaffordable for most people.
Leather tops, like this one from Banana Republic, appear to be a prominent trend this season, along with leather dresses.
The black leather trench coat and tall black leather boots are one of my absolute favorite fall / winter looks. The only thing missing is matching gloves!
The wide black leather belt and shiny gauntlet gloves make this outfit a little too "superhero" for me, but I do like the style of the gauntlet gloves.
Like the Gucci ad at the beginning of this post, this leather purse is almost upstaged by sexy long black leather gloves, leather pants, and tall boots!

My Favorite Pages - Vogue - September 2012
For being a 916-page issue, I found surprisingly little to like in the Fall Fashion issue of Vogue. Still, there were a few decent "leather looks" worth sharing...
It's amazing how much waxed (or lacquered) jeans in this case looks like leather. Although the ad states that they're "the new alternative to leather pants," I still think nothing feels and smells like real leather. However, these look very nice paired with the spiky suede boots.
The long black leather gloves are a nice contrast to the print dresses in this Marciano ad. They also look great paired with the big purse.
Again, the long black leather gloves really set off the black dress in this Nina Ricci ad. They really ad to the glamour of this overall outfit.
Very few women could pull off the look of this short black leather dress by Giuseppi Zanotti, but I dare say it looks stunning paired with the gold jewelry, gold accented belt, and gladiator sandals.

Some very nice Robert Rodriguez leather pants at Amazon.com
I am in serious lust with these Robert Rodriguez skinny leather jeans, from Amazon.com of all places! Even more tempting is that there is one pair left, and they're my size. Somehow, I can't part with the $219.60 Amazon wants for them, even though they were originally $595.00. I think it's that $200 price point, as at $150-$175, I'm pretty sure I would snap them up.
They look great modeled with pumps and I can envision wearing them with strappy sandals and tucked into boots as well.

My Favorite Pages - LUCKY - September 2012
"Skirts and Boots" is one of my favorite Fall / Winter looks, especially for work. I was glad to see Lucky feature how to pair different heights of boots with different length skirts.
I really like this pencil skirt look, except I'm not sold on animal print boots.
Love the clean lines and sexy stiletto heels on these Jimmy Choo "Tiger" over-the-knee boots. The skirt is nice and not too short.
Hmmm...I'm all for more opportunites to wear leather opera gloves, but I'm not sure about pairing them with an outfit like this.
Nice Macy's ad which pairs a bright red with black accents poncho with leather-look leggings and tall black leather boots. I've been a big fan of the red / black leather combination for years!
No surprise that one of this Fall's boot trends is knee-high boots. I'm happy to see that the classic stacked heel has made a big comeback.
It's great to see Bebe feature this very attention-getting "leather suit look" in its current advertising campaign.
Finally, another nice ad from Bebe featuring a black leather dress, which appears to be making a big fashion comeback this year!
