Nice long leather gloves in Hermes ad

I came across this Hermes ad in the WSJ Magazine and thought it was worth sharing. 

Even holding a snowball, those long black leather gloves look very luxurious, especially paired with several bracelets.

Nice ad from Lafayette 148 featuring leather pants

I have to admit, I really enjoyed the latest e-mail ad I received from Lafayette 148.

This one featured a cashmere turtleneck sweater paired with some nice shiny black leather pants.  This time of year, it's hard to go wrong when you pair a turtleneck sweater with leather pants, whether for work, your holiday office party, or any holiday gathering.  Although the blue sweater pictured is very nice, I'd probably opt for a more festive red for a holiday gathering.  Besides, we all know how great red looks when paired with black leather!

Came across this ad while doing some online research today.  I really like the spiky suede boots worn by the blonde woman in this clever photo!

And while we're on the theme on "hot boots in luggage ads," I've had this website bookmarked for a long time.  The blonde in the big, scrunchy over-the-knee boots is just adorable!

Nice Ogio ad featuring tall black leather boots

I was already a fan of Ogio luggage and backpacks, but found the tight jeans tucked into tall black leather boots in this ad a little distracting - in a good way!

My Favorite Pages - ELLE - November 2012

It's not saying much when the "leather highlight" in ELLE consists of a series of fur ads that have a great vintage 1980s look to them.



A knee-length fur coat paired with a turtleneck, wide black leather belt, and nicely matching leather skirt makes for a very sophisticated, luxury look. All that's missing is the knee-high boots!



Bare shoulders and arms stay warm with this nice pairing of a fur stole and opera-length leather gloves.



Again, a very nice pairing of a fur stole withlong leather gloves. The jewelry (big bracelet and pinky ring) worn over the gloves is also a nice touch.




This black leather shirtdress from Michael Kors is anything but basic. The goldtone buttons on the shoulders as well as the optional goldtone belt accent it very nicely. This piece would look great worn in early fall with strappy sandals or later in the season with some sexy over-the-knee boots.



This Hollywood edition of ELLE featured this one photo of actress Susan Sarandon in a Valentino black leather trench coat. The coat appears to be floor length and I wish we could have seen more from this photo shoot.

My Favorite Pages - Vogue - October 2012

It's hard to believe that for an issue of Vogue where fall leather fashion should be more prominent, I only found one photo / ad worth sharing!
Come on Vogue, you can do better!



I really like the overall simplicity of this Bottega Veneta ad, although the real reason it's here is because of the super-slouchy black leather gloves!
